Looking for a format to address how to effectively teach the more complex poses? How to attend to students’ inherent challenges? Potentially needing to tend to students’ physical issues, within a wide spectrum of bodies: ranging from the stiff to the flexible. Effective progress in this level is required to bring more awareness to our own practice and to better guide students.
These sessions are formatted to respond to select questions - submitted by you. Inspired by Guruji, by being rooted in the application of Asana practice, students will be guided by David Meloni’s clear and concise explanations. In this manner students’ will have the opportunity to experience the answers through practice for deeper more perceptive understanding.
LEARNING THROUGH OBSERVATION: sharpen your ability to recognize the issues and the root cause of the issues within these more complicated Asanas.
LEARNING THROUGH DECONSTRUCTION: issues will be broken down, step-by-step, to better understand and learn to teach more effectively how to teach, suggest safe modifications or beneficial variations.
LEARNING THROUGH ACTION: Further develop an acute understanding, by physically preparing and building up each key facet of the poses. Experience in your own body how you can better optimize the poses within yourself on a more advanced level. In this way, to move beyond the physical manifestation of the pose and into the deeper layers as Guruji has shown us vividly in his own practice. With the aim to equip you to teach more effectively and with more impact to better guide students into these progressively more complicated poses in Syllabus 2.
CLASS FORMAT: Asana Class with Q & A*. In the application of practice students will have the opportunity to experience the answers.
*SUBMIT QUESTIONS: Question(s) emailed to studywithdavidmeloni@gmail.com 2 days prior to the start of class will be considered for upcoming classes.
WHEN: January 31st, February 14th, & March 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM CET / Italy.

STEP 3: PAYMENT FOR WORKSHOP FEE - Upon payment of above pre-registration fee student will receive instructions and enrollment paperwork. After enrollment paperwork is approved and confirmed, final tuition payment is to be paid within 2 business days of to “Iyengar Yoga Rahasya Institute Firenze”.
PRE-REQUISITES:
Minimum Level 1 Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.
Immersions are not suitable for beginners.
ENROLLMENT PROCESS: Enrollment is based on a first come first serve basis, as well as, priority will be given to experienced practitioners.
PROPS: In consideration of students that will be traveling (from near and far) to attend props will be supplied in full on-site.
LANGUAGE: Immersion will be taught in both English & Italian.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
Enrollment paperwork, Pre-registration and Workshop Fees are to be paid in full before student is fully enrolled and space is confirmed.
Workshop includes teaching instruction only. Travel, accommodation, food, etc. is to be arranged by the student.
No refunds:
In the event circumstances are out of the control of the organizer and the in person mini-immersion needs to be cancelled, registration fee will be returned minus a $50 (USD) non-refundable processing fee.

Minimum 3 years of Iyengar Yoga practice.
Can do a 10 minute free - standing Salamba Sirsasana I in the middle of the room.
Can do a 10 minute free - standing Salamba Sarvangasana I.
Can push up into Urdhva Dhanurasana directly from the floor.
No therapeutics. Students have to be able to manage their own physical issues.
Intensives are not suitable for beginners.
